It is the New Year and most of us are probably anxious about the resolutions we chose to keep for this year. Gracious Living Guide shares a humorous visual column from the New York Times Magazine of Christop Niemann’s look at the fate of unfulfilled resolutions. Not being able to fulfill one’s resolutions may be frustrating, but it does not hurt to take a gentler and kinder attitude with our failures in keeping our resolutions, after all life is not just a sheet of paper with check boxes and ticks…enjoy the cartoon!

Christoph Niemann’s is a visual columnist for The Times Magazine. His work has appeared on the covers of The New Yorker, Newsweek, Wired and American Illustration. In 2010 he was inducted into the Art Directors Club Hall of Fame.
