Located within courtyards of a defunct industrial building is a ‘rural’ enclave which plays host to a restaurant and a culinary academy. Fonderie Milanese was once a metal smelt factory. The building is surrounded by factory workers’ living quarters (now occupied by city residents) . This charming secret spot comes alive in the evening – playing host to diners or anyone who would like an aperitif in the garden. Food tasting events are held occasionally to the public.
