Christoph Brach & Daniera ter Haar, both graduates of Academy Eindhoven, established an design lab focusing on experiments and research on material and graphic design with the objective to build a visual language. We were particularly impressed with their recent work exhibited at the Salone 2010. The duo devised a process to vary colour hues through light exposure, with each tone being defined by the duration of the exposure. Equally exciting are their veggie-dabblings (Raw Color No.1 –3), where vegetable dyes are ‘harvested’ in a process to ensure the intensity of these colors may be easily captured on paper. Marketing for fruits and swishing past an agricultural field whilst on a train will never be the same again after being enlightened by the duo highly conceptualized exhibitions. http://www.rawcolor.nl
