Shaping Minds - A Non Profit Project With Gift&Take
In May 2009, GAT and 72 Smalldive initiated a non-profit community project that engaged disadvantaged Singaporean females, living in shelter homes, in a sewing program. The first collection of the shopping bags made by the participants is now available for viewing at the Berlin Fashion Week A/W 2010.
The first batch of their hard work will soon be available at the Art & Craft market (via Gift & Take Booth) in Vivocity, Singapore, on the first and last weekend of each month. The bags are also available at 72 Smalldive’s e-shop where part of the sales proceeds will be donated to Keep a Child Alive Organization.
